Records consist of two issues (June 1975 and June 1976) of "The Beaufort Seer", a newsletter published by Pallister Resource Management, Ltd. For the member companies of the Arctic Petroleum Operators' Association. The newsletter contains articles on environmental impact studies, and oil drilling activities in the Beaufort Sea.

This fonds consists of 12 cm of original and published textual material, 41 black and white and colour photographs relating to the mine at Outpost Island and Slave Lake Gold Mines Ltd and one map. The original textual material includes handwritten and typewritten letters written by Archie Jamieson, his family, friends that worked at Outpost Island and J.J. Byrne. In addition, there are original proxy forms for the Slave Lake Gold Mines Shareholders Committee, a share certificate, and an envelope addressed to Archie Jamieson that is stamped Outpost Island Post Office, 1941. There is also a Report to Bondholders and Shareholders from Slave Lake Gold Mines Ltd., three blank proxy forms for the Slave Lake Gold Mines Ltd., as well as correspondence and a copy of a Supreme Court of Ontario ruling under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act, 1933. In addition, there is some photocopied textual material consisting of published information about mineral development at Outpost Island, a diamond drill record, as well as copies of correspondence related to the operation of the mine The photographs date between the 1940s and 1990s and include both black and white and colour photographs, as well as 13 copy digital photographs. The photographs depict the Outpost Island mine site, staff and buildings including the mill, the boat used by employees to leave the site and former recreation centre. The map is of the Northwestern part of Canada and identifies the location of Outpost Island, and the distances from Outpost Island to Fort Resolution, Yellowknife and Edmonton.

This fonds consists of prints and negatives, including cellulose nitrate and one glass negative, formerly owned by Archibald Lang Fleming, as well as a program for the opening of the All Saints' Hospital in Aklavik in 1937, attended by Governor General Lord Tweedsmuir (John Buchan). The photographs include the communities of: Aklavik, Baker Lake, Cambridge Bay, Cape Dorset, Chesterfield Inlet, Clyde River, Coppermine, Eskimo Point, Lake Harbour, Pangnirtung, and Pond Inlet, among others. Images feature the portraits and daily activities of Inuit and Dene and Anglican churches and missions.

This fonds consists of photographs and text from the Archaeological and Geological Reconnaissance expedition that surveyed archaeological sites in Alberta, the Mackenzie Valley and the Upper Yukon, as well as the expedition journals and notes of Wesley Bliss, Joseph Maloney, Douglas Osborne, Thomas Cain, and [Alden?] Hayes. The photographs include images of archaeological sites and the communities of Fort Good Hope, Shingle Point (Yukon) and Aklavik.

Records include photocopies of political cartoons drawn by Antoine Mountain.

This fonds consists of mimeographed minutes and proceedings of the first and second meetings of the Council of the Episcopal District of Mackenzie. The meetings were presided over by Bishop Henry G. Cook.

This fonds consists of approximately 11 photographs, 1 cm of textual records and 17 reels of microfilm of the Anglican Church of Canada, Diocese of the Arctic.

The textual records consist of one report by Canon Alfred J. Vale on his winter trip from Hay River to Fort Resolution in 1919; and a manuscript entitled "Memoranda of the Mission to the Mackenzie River Eskimo, 1895-1929." The manuscript is attributed to C.E. Whittaker and discusses the history of Anglican missions along the Mackenzie River including Fort Simpson, Fort McPherson, Aklavik, Herschel Island and missions in the Mackenzie Delta region. Also documented in the text are the arrivals and departures of various missionaries. A typed copy of the manuscript is retained on the accession file.

The microfilm represents approximately 4.5 meters of text dating from approximately 1927 to 1949. The records consist of files from Bishop A.L. Fleming's term as Bishop of the Arctic. They include: clergy files; women workers files; mission station files; and diocesan files. The clergy files include: correspondence, mission reports, requisitions, cables, architectural drawings, maps, statistical reports, photographs and other materials related to male mission workers. The women workers files include: mission reports, cables, candidate applications and statistical reports from women who worked as nurses, teachers, deaconesses and house matrons. The mission station files include: correspondence, annual reports, budgets, requisitions, architectural plans, statistical reports and photographs. The diocesan files include: correspondence, architectural plans, maps, minutes of the Arctic Mission Committee and subject files.

Please note that the Inuit are referred to as "Eskimos" in these records.

This fonds consists of one ledger of 'Indian Accounts' kept by A.N. Blake. The ledger documents the accounts of Indigenous traders in the Fort McPherson area.

This accession consists of one copy of "An Act to Make Further Provision for the Regulation of the Trade with the Indians, and for the Administration of Justice in the North-Western Territories of America", Bill 104, session 2 (House of Commons, 1 August 1859).

This fonds consists of 2 cm of textual material relating to the operation of Alternatives North. Included in the textual material are a statement of principles, minutes, incoming and outgoing correspondence, members lists and pamphlets and flyers from Alternatives North. The records are dated from April to October 1977.

This fonds consists of 152 photographs documenting Alma Guest's travels to and within the Northwest Territories. The images feature the construction, launch and voyages of the S.S. "Distributor," the fur trade, scenes and communities along the Slave and Mackenzie rivers and the Inuit, Gwich'in, Dogrib and Metis people. Communities depicted in the photographs include Fort Providence, Fort Smith, Fort Norman and Fort Resolution.

This fonds consists of one photocopy of the typescript version of Alfred E. Preble's journal of his trip from Athabasca Landing to Fort Wrigley back to Athabasca Landing. Included in the journal are descriptions of the flora and fauna observed and collected. There are also descriptions of Fort Resolution, Hay River, Fort Simpson and people he met during the journey. Also included are some photocopies of black and white photos taken by Preble during this trip.

This fonds consists of 118 black and white copy negatives. The images include locations such as Aklavik, Baker Lake, Bathurst Inlet, Chesterfield Inlet, Coppermine, Shingle Point (Yukon), and Herschel Island (Yukon). Images feature Inuit, buildings (including igloos), boats and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) personnel.

The textual records consist of a typewritten handbook entitled 'Material for Minister's Handbook' dated December 1965. The handbook appears to have belonged to Alexander Stevenson and contains information about the organization of the Northern Administration Branch. The handbook provides an overview about the activities of the Finance and Management Advisory Division, Education Division, Engineering Division, Industrial Division, Territorial Division and Welfare Division and includes budgetary information for each division. In addition, there is a copy of the NWT Council Tour, Vol. II (February 29 to March 8, 1968) marked "Alex Stevenson." The material lists all members of the Territorial Council, as well as biographical information about each member. In addition, there are two maps that were originally located in the NWT Council Tour book. One map shows the Territorial Evolution of Canada. It was produced by the Geographical Branch, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. The other map was produced by the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, Resource Management Division, and shows Mineral Exploration and Mining sites in the Northwest Territories and Yukon Territory. All other Stevenson Accessions transferred to Nunavut.

This accession contains correspondence concerning the establishment of the Northwest Territories Court of Appeal and its opening session on October 18, 1960.

The textual material includes correspondence from Albert Faille's son, a Nahanni Safaris brochure, and certificates belonging to Albert Faille. The photographs include images of the Nahanni Region, Albert Faille, Jean and Hal Bennett and Faille's son.

Records include photographs of students and student life at Akaitcho Hall in Yellowknife. Photographs date from 1960-2001 and include class photographs, individual portraits of students, basketball teams, the cafeteria and special events such as graduation and a visit from Prime Minister Trudeau in 1968. There is one photograph of the Akaitcho Hall reunion team that was taken in 2001.

Records are comprised of one copy of the Akaitcho Gazette which was produced by the Akaitcho Hall Reunion Committee in 2001 to commemorate the Akaitcho Hall reunion that was held in Yellowknife from June 29, 2001 until July 1, 2001. The 32 page newspaper includes copies of photographs of the students, staff and events that took place at Akaitcho Hall between 1958 and 1994. In addition, there are stories from former students and staff about people, events and daily living at the residence.

Records include photographs depicting student life at Akaitcho Hall. The photographs show the dormitories, the cafeteria, student events, sporting teams, student councils and visits from dignitaries. The photographs appear to date from 1960-1979.
