This item is the first volume of a manuscript authored by Catherine A. Hoare (nee Cowan) detailing the life of William (Billy) Hoare between 1912-1922, during which time he travelled throughout the Northwest Territories as a missionary for the Anglican Church. The manuscript also features a number of related photographs. Reference to the murder of Harry Radford and George Street near Hanbury Lake.
