George Hunter, flying his Piper Clipper aircraft, landed along street in front of Aklavik Hotel, a tight manouver as roadway bisected by construction of water line. A row of "Mother Hubbard" style parkas lines the wall behind them. One girl ties her moccassin on in the background at right, and a child looks on at far left.]
