Hostel school at East Three [Inuvik], 1959. Originally, to placate Anglicans and RC's, whose Aklavik residential schools had to close down when government took over education, churches were allowed to operate hostels. Utilidor conveniently divided the playground and kept separate "congregations" apart at playtime.
