This accession consists of photocopies of the English translations of the French/Loucheux (Gwich'in) entries in Emile Petitot's "Dictionnaire De La Langue DSnS - Dindji,", (Paris, 1876). The translations were prepared jointly by the Yukon Native Languages Project and the Alaska Native Languages Center.

The map was produced by the Water Resources Branch, Inland Waters Directorate, Fisheries and Environment Canada in 1978 and shows the locations of hydrometric stations and drainage divisions across all three territories. A possible boundary between the Northwest Territories and Nunavut has been sketched in red ink. Separated from file N-1990-029: 20-15
Herschel Island Yukon Territory. The most northerly Post Office in Western Canada, Herschel Island is 2000 miles north of Edmonton. A Royal Canadian Mounted Police Post is situated at this point, and the Officer in charge is the Postmaster. [Boats at Herschel Island.]
