Herschel Island Yukon Territory. The most northerly Post Office in Western Canada, Herschel Island is 2000 miles north of Edmonton. A Royal Canadian Mounted Police Post is situated at this point, and the Officer in charge is the Postmaster. [A floatplane sits on shore to the right of the post office.]
